Pour vegetable oil into your cup ( you want to create a layer that’s about 1 inch). What happens when you pour the water in?

Add drops of food coloring to the cup. What is happening to the food coloring?

Add pinches of salt. What is happening?

Eventually my boys wanted to pour the rest of the salt in!

It started making bubbles at the top.
