Make your own Watercolors! Ages 2+

Need something to do with all those dried out markers? Make your own watercolors!

Materials:
Water
Dried our markers
tape

I like to tape the markers together so when the kids put paint brushes in the water there not knocking over all the loose markers soaking.

Fill a cup 1/3-1/2 of the way with water. I like to ask the kids what they think will happen before I put the markers in the water. Then let the markers soak in the water. The water will start to turn color right away.

Once the markers soak for a minute or so I let the kids stir the water with the markers.
