CVC words ball & box! Ages 4+

We had so much fun playing this game!

Materials needed:
Ball
Box

If you ever played the old basketball game PIG these are the same rules. You take turns shooting until someone makes it into the box. We pick a different CVC word every time we play. This game we played the word PIG.

Once someone gets the ball in the box. Everyone has to shoot from that spot. If they make it they are safe. If they miss it they get a letter “P” in the word PIG.

Then continue taking turns shooting until someone makes another shot. Once you spell PIG you are out. We played many games. Each game we picked a new CVC word to spell!
