Painting with Colored Ice Cubes!

This is a great process art, sensory and fine motor activity! Especially on a hot summer day!

Materials(affiliate links):
Ice Tray
Water
Food coloring
Popsicle sticks

First you fill a ice cube tray up with water(I got mine at the dollar store). Next put 1-3 drops of food coloring in the water.

Put a popsicle stick in each ice cube. Then put in the freezer over night.

The next day you are ready to paint! This is a great process art, senosry and fine motor activity. Easy way to talk about colors!

Kysen loved painting his hands with the colored ice too!

The boys figured out that when you leave the ice cube on the paper for a couple of seconds it starts to melt and spreads easier.
