Great for math and fine motors! Opening and closing jars and containers is great for strengthening fine motor muscles. Adding lids to this loose parts activity leads to great math conversation. How many lids can you fit in the jar? How many are blue? What color do you have the most of? Least? What is the biggest lid you can fit in the jar? Who can fit the most lids in the jar?
