Ice Cream Cone Print Painting! AGES 3+

We have been talking about ice cream in my class recently. We decided to try painting with ice cream cones! Print painting allows kids to try out different techniques and to see the cause and effect in action. Kids love trying to paint with different art mediums.

Ice cream cones (we used cake cones and sugar cones)
Paint
Paper

First I covered the table with white paper. Then I set up the trays of paint with the cones!

Now the kids were ready to paint!

You can see how they all had different ideas of how to use the cones for painting which was great!
