We had so much fun painting with cooking tools this week! This was a fun process art activity. It was a great opportunity for us to go over some of the vocabulary we have learned during our cooking project.

Cooking Tools Process Art! AGES 3+ My class has been doing a cooking project. We wanted to review some of the vocabulary we learned. First we talked about the names of each of the tools and what we can use them for. Then we painted with them!Cooking Tools Set (aff link): https://amzn.to/2Gvuh6RPaint Trays (aff link): https://amzn.to/2tl8gQ4Full Details: https://learnasyouplay.net/2019/02/11/cooking-tools-process-art-ages-3/

Process art is all about the experience the children have while they’re creating. If it has a nice end product, that’s great, but the end product isn’t the focus of process art.
Children learn through play and open-ended activities. It allows them the chance to explore the world around them, ask questions, and see how things work. Process art fits in with how children learn because it allows them room to be themselves, make their own decisions, and just create!
