This is a fun science activity. Before I start any science activity I always like to ask, “What do you think is going to happen?” The boys had so much fun watching the reactions of the baking soda and vinegar when they mixed. Using pipettes is great for working those fine motor muscles.

First get a pan and spread your lids out.
Then put a scoop of baking soda in each lid.
Put some vinegar in a cup. Then hand the child a pipette and let them have fun exploring science! If they are not familiar with pipettes make sure you show them how to use it first.
