Find the shape game! AGES 3+

Age 3+, Age 4+, Age 5+, Colors & Shapes, Games, Math, Sorting & Classifying, Toys/ Games

This is a fun way to practice shapes and counting! Call out a shape! Everyone finds one and tries to balance it on their head. Then we counted from 1 to 10 or backwards from 10 to 1. The kids had so much fun with this game!

First you make a circle. Then pour all the shapes in the middle of the circle. The teacher or a student will call out a shape. Everyone tries to find that shape in the pile.

Once they find one they place it on their head. When everyone has one you count from 1 to 10 or from 10 to 1 as you balance the shape on your head. When you are done counting the shapes go back into the pile.
