Balloon Ball Race! All Ages!

Age 2+, Age 3+, Age 4+, Age 5+, Age 6+, Critical Thinking, Early Years Math, Fine/Gross Motor Skills, Gross Motors, Preschool, Summer/Outdoor

We all had fun with these 2 racing games! Great way to work on gross motor development. It was so easy to set up. You can race a friend or race the timer.

Materials:
Whiffle Balls (any balls you have around the house will work too)
Buckets
Balloons

We played two different races. For the first one, hit the balloon up then put a ball in the bucket. Keep repeating the pattern until all your balls are in the bucket. Then catch the balloon to finish. Don’t let the balloon hit the ground.

For the second one, hit the balloon up and then place all the balls in the bucket. Last catch the balloon to finish. Don’t let the balloon hit the ground.
