Playing is fun and learning can be too!

This was a fun way to work on name recognition, letter recognition and matching uppercase and lowercase letters. Kysen has always loved playing with cars. He still lines them up to race! Did you know you can write on Magnetic builders with dry erase markers!

Materials:
Magnetic builders
Dry erase marker
5 cars
Masking tape
Sharpie

Kysen loves building with magnetic builders so he made the boxes! Then I wrote the letters of his name with uppercase letters using a dry erase marker. Looking back I should have let him write the letters. Next time!

Next I wrote the letters of his name using lower case letters and we taped them on his cars.

Kysen enjoyed matching the letters and parking the cars in the boxes! I love listening to him play as he makes the vrrrrrroooommm car sound effects!
