Playing is fun and learning can be too!

Measuring with Unifix Cubes! Ages 3+

Here is a fun way to work on measurement, one to one correspondence, number recognition, and fine motors.  Grab some masking tape, numbers and unifix cubes (could also use wooden blocks or any other counting manipulatives).

Materials
Masking tape
Unifix Cubes
Numbers

First rip different size pieces of tape and place them on a table. 

Then have your child measure how many unifix cubes long the tape is. Once they have measured the tape have them place the number next to the line of cubes.
