Playing is fun and learning can be too!

What’s In The Present? AGES 3+

This is a great way to talk about our sense of touch. Have your child guess what they think it is before they open it. Try to wrap things that vary in size and weight. Opening presents is also great for fine motors.

Materials:
2 blocks
2 scissors
2 counting bears
2 paint brushes
2 glue
2 bells
2 crayons
wrapping paper
tape

Here is a video of the boys doing the activity!

Find 2 of each item that you are going to use. Wrap one of each item.

Next let your child grab a present and have them try to guess what it is using their sense of feel. Before they open the present make sure they guess what they think it is.
