Playing is fun and learning can be too!

Jalen’s Sight Word Soccer Game!

Jalen was working on a game project in his 1st grade class. Each of the kids were challenged to create their own game that would teach something. No shocker he created a soccer game! He made the whole thing at school. He was so proud to bring it home to show us!

You flick the ball with your finger. If you score you pick a card from the pile of sight words. The other person has to spell the sight word. If they get it wrong then you get a point. You play until all the cards run out. We have been having so much fun playing his game!
