Kysen had so much fun with this bowling game. We worked on letter recognition, letter naming and gross motor development. He also loved stacking the cans in a pyramid, which incorporated some math into the activity. All you need is some cans, letter stickers and a ball!
Materials (affiliate links):

Make sure when you put the letter sticker on you turn the can upside down. I like to put clear packing tape over the letter to help secure it on the can.
We used 10 cans to make our pyramid. 4 on the bottom, 3 on the next row, 2 on the next row and 1 on top. Once you stack your pyramid, get a ball and you are ready to bowl.

Have the child roll the ball at the cans. Then have them name the letters of the cans that didn’t fall down. Kysen loved stacking the cans over and over and knocking them down.
