Letter Matching! AGES 3+

Age 3+, Age 4+, Age 5+, Alphabet Knowledge, Language & Literacy, Language Arts, letters

This activity is great for working on matching uppercase and lowercase letters. As Kysen was matching the letters we also worked on naming the letters and practicing the letter sounds.

Materials (affiliate links):
Metal Pan
Magnet letters
Painters tape
Marker

Place a piece of painters tape across the top of the pan. With a marker write the letters on the tape.

Line up the matching lowercase letters on the bottom of the pan.

Then have them match the lowercase letters to the uppercase letters. As they match the letters ask them what the name of the letter is and then what sound the letter makes.
