Kysen has been really into mazes, so we created this maze board to go with some bottle caps. The challenge was to begin at the start square and make your way down to the finish square. When he was done we counted how many bottle caps it took him to get to the bottom. He also loved making different designs on the maze board.
Materials:
Bottle caps (the ones we used are from water bottles)
Permanent marker
Here is a video of Kysen doing the activity!

Start by drawing directional lines on your bottle caps with a permanent marker. I did 3 different lines.
Then put the bottle caps in a bowl and give your child a bottle cap maze printable. Challenge them to begin at the start square and make their way down to the finish.
To make it easier let them pick the pieces they want. To make it harder you could put the pieces in a bag and they have to use whatever piece they pick.
