Playing is fun and learning can be too!

Collecting and Sorting Fall Leaves! Ages 3+

This was such a fun activity inspired by my class of 3 year olds.  We were outside on the playground and they noticed that the leaves started changing color.  They wanted to collect the leaves to bring back to our classroom.  Our class has been talking a lot about colors recently.  We decided to sort the leaves by color so we could hang their collaborative art piece up in our classroom!

Materials:
Collect different color leaves
Glue
A piece of poster board

Lay the leaves on a table and let them start gluing and sorting the leaves by color.

The final product was a beautiful piece of fall art!
