These DIY heart puzzles were so easy to make! Just cut out some hearts with construction paper. Make a design down the middle and cut 2 halves. Then laminate them so they last longer. Puzzles are a great way to work on fine motors, problem solving skills and visual spatial awareness. Kysen enjoyed the challenge of putting all the heart puzzles together.
Materials:
Construction Paper

Something to write with
Here is a video of Kysen doing the activity!

Cut hearts out of construction paper. Then draw a design down the middle and cut the heart in half. We made 10 different designs. I like to laminate the pieces so they last longer.
Once your pieces are all done, mix them up and see if your child can match them. Kids also love to work on this activity in small groups.
