Can you fill in the shapes with the legos? This activity is great for spatial awareness. It also introduces children to the concept of geometry. Geometry is a key domain and also supports the learning of other mathematical topics, such as number and patterns.

For this activity we used 2 different size duplo legos. You could just use the small square ones if you wanted.
Collect some legos, print out the cards and you are ready to go. I like to laminate the cards so they last longer.
Kysen enjoyed this activity. Some of the cards surprised him as he was creating the shapes.
