Race to 20 Farm Game

Small Farm Animals (any small manipulative will work)

How To Play:

This is a fun way to practice one to one correspondence and number recognition.  Tell the kids that Farmer Brown is racing to the barn to check on the animals.  He needs their help to get to the barn.

This game can be played independently or with a partner.  If playing with a partner, take turns rolling the dice.

Place a farm animal on the zero to start.  Then roll the dice and move your animal the same number of spaces as you rolled.  Say the number you landed on.  Keep rolling until you get all the way to the barn to check on the animals.
