Playing is fun and learning can be too!

Ball in Cup! Ages 3+

The boys had fun with this team work activity!  They had to work together to get the ball in the cup.  We talked about different angles.  Depending on where you want the ball to go, you had to position the toilet paper roll before you blew the air.  The boys learned really fast that this wasn’t a game of speed.  They had to slow down and work together.

Materials:
2 Toilet paper rolls or a paper towel roll cut in half.
ping pong ball
cup
tape

First you tape the cup to the end of a table.

Have one person stand on each side of the table. Start the ball on the opposite side of the table as the cup. One person starts by blowing air through the toilet paper roll. Work together as a team to try and blow the ball into the cup.

Here is a video of the boys doing the activity!
