Shape Match Game! Ages 3+

Here is a fun way to work on shape recognition. Shapes are everywhere.  Kids love pointing out shapes they see in the world around them. Roll the cube and move the person to the closest matching shape.  We used a lego person.  The printable for this activity includes the shape cube ( circle, triangle, oval, rhombus, square, rectangle) and the shape match game board.

Here is a video of Kysen playing the game!

Print out the game board and the cube.  Follow the directions on how to glue the cube together. Get a lego person and start them on the heart.  Then have the child roll the cube and move the person to the matching shape.
